In response to many requests for an even lighter and more responsive board, we’re pleased to present the Carbon Microlight, an EPS core vacuum-bagged with carbon fiber cloth and epoxy resin. We’ve added a layer of 5oz warp glass under the carbon on the deck for increased durability without adding any noticeable weight. A thin 1/16″ bass stringer creates a subtle I-beam effect, adding greater longevity and strength, while giving the EPS core the ability to flex, balancing the inherent stiffness of carbon fiber and epoxy.

All of our shortboard models are available in Carbon Microlight composite construction, allowing each design to explore new possibilities within the mini board concept.
